Caroline Berube taught a 10 hour “Legal Environment for Doing Business in Asia” class at the Sorbonne ASSAS Law School, Asia Campus. Caroline has over 18 years of experience of working in China and is well versed in local “ways of doing business”. As Caroline is a Western foreign lawyer in China, she also provides a unique perspective which her Western clients appreciate when expanding into China. Caroline covered topics such as Laws/regulation and court system in China, legal frameworks, various contracts, legal structure, corporate law, labor and employment law and IP in China.
