Caroline Berube, Managing Partner of HJM Asia Law, was thrilled to be the moderator of a successful first webinar organised by the IBA China Working Group (CWG)! Speakers on the panel were brilliant and insightful: Christopher Blake (Hahn Loeser & Parks, Cleveland, Co-Chair, IBA International Commerce and Distribution Committee), Hui (Harrison) Jia (DeHeng Law Offices, Beijing), David Liu (Duan & Duan, Shanghai) and Dirk Schwenn (Schomerus & Partner, Hamburg, Senior Vice Chair, IBA International Commerce and Distribution Committee). Caroline and the speakers discussed whether supply agreement and distribution agreements remain valid during the pandemic crisis and tips to re-negotiate with your Asian suppliers key terms, just to name a few. The webinar had over 700 registrants and a huge turnout attendees from all over the world!  Special thanks to Maria Chew (Conference & Marketing Administrator Asia Office, IBA), and Dominic Hui (Ribeiro & Hui, Shanghai) from the IBA CWG and George Ribeiro (Ribeiro & Hui, Hong Kong), Co-Chair of the IBA International Commerce and Distribution Committee) for their help.  For a recording of the webinar, click https://www.ibanet.org/Pandemics-and-force-majeure.aspx
