Caroline Berube elected as the 2nd Vice President for the Canadian Alumni Singapore (CA-S), April 2016

Caroline Berube was elected as the 2nd Vice President for Canadian Alumni in Singapore (CA-S) for the second year in a row. Evelyn Wong, the CAS President, is very keen to further develop the association and grow and connect the Canadian community in Singapore. Last year was big for Singapore as it celebrated its 50^th anniversary and CAS was a big part of celebrations which were organized in partnership with the Canadian Chamber of Commerce and the High Commission of Canada in Singapore. 2015 was an exciting and memorable year, not only with celebrations of Singapore’s 50th and 50 years of Canada-Singapore bilateral relations, but because there was a notable increase in visits by Canadian universities and events organized with and by alumni last year!  Other events included the Canadian Great Skate, a bowling tournament and the Terry Fox Run. Caroline will assist CAS in growing the association through her McGill connection as Caroline is the President of the McGill Alumni Chapter in Singapore.
