CanCham Scholarship Award 2022, Canadian International School (CIS) Graduation Ceremony, May 25th, 2022 at the SMU School of Law auditorium

Caroline Berube, Managing Partner of HJM Asia Law, said the importance of the next generation as pillar of the community of tomorrow is key to her and she proudly presented on behalf of Canadian Chamber of Commerce in Singapore as President, the annual CanCham Scholarship Award to two deserving Grade 12 students: Rawsab Said and Emma Vanderjagt, the former exhibited entrepreneurial spirit by organising a food donation, and the latter a young leader with the school’s Model United Nations (MUN) Club! It is wonderful to note that the scholarship goes to support their university admissions at the University of Waterloo and The University of British Columbia in Canada! Caroline accords her special thanks to Daniel Smith (Secondary School Principal, Lakeside Campus, Canadian International School in Singapore) for his patience and coordination leading up to the ceremony. True to CanCham and CIS joint mission and Caroline's personal aspiration, Caroline loves to encourage young promising talents year after year!

"Up Close and Personal", Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA) Journal, Issue #105, March 2022

Caroline Berube, Managing Partner of HJM Asia Law, said it was impossible to say no to Priti Suri and James Jung (IPBA immediate past-Chair and Vice-Chair of the Publications Committee respectively) when they kindly asked her to be featured in the IPBA Journal given her past roles as Secretary General and Chair of the Publication Committee of the IPBA in the last 12 years! It gives Caroline great pleasure to share with Inter-Pacific Bar Association (IPBA) friends and avid readers of the IPBA journal about her personal stories and views about many wonderful women as leaders and role models. Caroline feels truly lucky to have crossed paths with so many inspiring individuals, most of whom have become life-long friends in the IPBA circle, and still doing so. Happy reading and you can click this link: lnkd.in/g-ekMTn9 for more journals both past and present.
